Crispy, savory mushrooms cooked to perfection in the air fryer with garlic and a savory glaze. A quick, healthy, and irresistible side dish or appetizer.

16 ounces button mushrooms (halved)
1 clove garlic (minced)
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 1/2 tablespoons plant-based butter
1 tablespoon light soy sauce
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (180°C). Lightly grease the basket.
  2. In a bowl, combine mushrooms, garlic, olive oil, melted plant-based butter, soy sauce, salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Mix well.
  3. Transfer mushrooms to the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook for 7-8 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
  4. Remove from air fryer, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Do not overcrowd the basket; cook in batches if needed for crispiness.
  • For gluten-free, use tamari.
  • Best served fresh. Reheat leftovers in the air fryer.
