Ingredients

1 lb shrimp (peeled and deveined)
12 oz halal chicken sausage (sliced)
2 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp butter
1 medium onion (diced)
1 medium red bell pepper (chopped)
1 medium green bell pepper (chopped)
2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
4 cloves garlic (minced)
1 cup chicken broth
1 cup heavy whipping cream
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper (optional)
Salt to taste
Black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat oil and butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Sauté onion and bell peppers for 5 minutes until softened.
  3. Add garlic and sausage; cook for 3-4 minutes until browned.
  4. Add shrimp and cook for 3-4 minutes until pink.
  5. Pour in broth, cream, and Cajun seasoning. Stir well.
  6. Simmer for 5-7 minutes until slightly thickened.
  7. Season with salt, pepper, and optional cayenne.

Notes

  • For a spicier dish, add more cayenne or a dash of hot sauce at the end.
  • Serve over cauliflower rice for a complete low-carb meal.
