A creamy, high-protein, low-calorie dip made with spinach and cottage cheese, perfect for healthy snacking and parties.

Ingredients

Scale

9 oz. (250 g) fresh spinach (or thawed frozen spinach)
1 1/2 cup (330 g) cottage cheese
2 tbsp mayonnaise
1 tsp onion powder
1/2 to 1 tsp garlic powder (to taste)
1/2 tsp kosher salt (more to taste)
ground black pepper (to taste)

Instructions

  1. Steam, cook, or sauté the spinach. Allow it to cool, then squeeze out all excess water. Chop finely. If using frozen, thaw, drain, and chop.
  2. In a blender or food processor, combine cottage cheese, mayonnaise, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Blend until smooth.
  3. Transfer the cream to a bowl, add the chopped spinach, and stir to combine.
  4. Serve immediately or refrigerate in an airtight container for up to 3 days.

Notes

  • For a thicker dip, ensure all water is squeezed from the spinach.
  • Seasonings can be adjusted after blending to suit your taste.
  • Great with veggies, crackers, or as a sandwich spread.
